Work and entertainment...

   After finishing my studies we spend every free moment with our grey dogs... And we sure are very busy with the dogs... I'm intensively preparing for hunting exams with Karolínka. Dog life...

   We used two sunny days and went to our cottage where we hada great time...A few photos of Matýsek and Agoušek... And something about our prospective mother - she really starts to look after herself...So we are hopeful... :-)

Champion of Croatia...

   Our Agonny and Karolínka have officially become Champions of Croatia - congratulations to the girls...

Zahradiště 2010 - a week with friends...

   This week we have enjoyed an intensive training with friends in the small town of Zahradiště in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou. The surroundings were already familiar to us from last year, so we knew what to expect. The nature was beautiful and the conditions for training of rescue dogs were excellent. Now we have to wait...

   We were in Croatia with our Agonny last week where we covered her with Gandalf. The covering went really well and now we have to wait to see if it was a success... Keep your fingers crossed for us. For more info click here ...

D day...

   Finally, our Agonny started to be on heat and according to progesterone, it is time to visit a suitor on Friday... So, keep your fingers crossed for us that everything turns out according to plan and (hopefully) we will have a bunch of little grey dogs in two month's time...

We practice and practice...

Another week has passed by and we were very busy once again... Matýsek carries on with recue work (photo), he even tried "avalanches" this week (photo). He drew the smell of the person right away but at first he didn't understand where it was coming from... I also tried what it feels like to be underneath an avalanche and… více

Examination...

We have had another busy weekend... We got to know one vet who specialises in dog reproduction... Little surprise, we used the opportunity and had Matýsek's sperm taken and examined... We are delighted with the result - mobility at 90% . And when we were already at the vet's we had Matýsek's blood taken and had his thyroid… více

Another rescue work...

Well, another training with a camera at the ready... This time the Czech Police let us use their premises, for which we would like to thank them and are looking forward to the next training session... This training session took place in a hangar full of cars. I would never have said that it would be such a hard… více

Matýsek's bride ...

Matýsek has been enjoying himself this week...A female dog came for visit (even several times) and we were covering :) We repeated the covering from last year: Matýsek X Goja from the Valley of Bottle-stones (Údolí Vltavínů)... Now, we are waiting for how many grey babies there will be... Also, we got another CACIB card - two more and… více

Rescue work...

In order for Matýsek not to get bored we have taken on a new activity... rescue work...   Matýsek is great - he absolutely loves every new action and becomes even more agitated when he gets meat as reward... We have been doing rescue work for 2 months. We practise every week (sometimes even more often) and the progress is… více

Action-packed weekend

Our girls have been to another dog-show weekend. On Saturday at night, the Zdráhal family picked up the girls and they "whizzed off" to Slovenia. Mega success of our girls...

This weekend started already on Friday afternoon when we waited with our things packed for Barča, Píno and Ričí to arrive in Brno. Our destination was clear: a two-day dog show in Innsbruck. On Friday in the night, we arrived in a beautiful guesthouse in the Alps - it was simply breathtaking - just like in a fairy tale...… více

Time flies and here is some news from us...Exactly on Christmas Eve, one of our boys found a new home (it was the nicest Christmas present under the tree for a family from Teplice). We have lived these two days to the full with the greys. We were on a hunt with Matýsek on Saturday - in our village in Bošovice. It was a very nice hunt which we enjoyed very much with Matýsek. Here is some news from our group. Our Agoušek went for an extended weekend to the Giant Mountains where he tired out my parents easily with his vitality... Matýsek took part in sports cynology exams today, in which he got 55 out of 60 points and thus finished in second place.
